ULTRA FIVE is a single-player strategy sandbox where you guide a country through economic growth, political unrest, diplomacy, and armed conflict. Choose a state on a procedurally generated map and decide what its future should look like. Build a prosperous trading nation, hold together a fragile alliance, or commit your resources to territorial expansion.

A strong economy starts with the connections between its parts. Farms feed the population, mines provide raw materials, and factories turn those materials into equipment. Develop regional industries, manage warehouses, improve roads, and establish trade agreements to keep goods moving. A crowded construction queue means little if the treasury cannot fund it or the necessary materials never arrive.

Government brings its own pressures. Set taxes, adjust public spending, introduce reforms, and invest in research. National projects can improve transport, education, and healthcare, but they require money and time. Keep an eye on public and military support as political movements compete for influence. Elections, coups, and territorial civil wars can reshape a country while its attention is elsewhere.

Diplomacy gives you room to maneuver. Improve relations, negotiate access, form alliances, send aid, impose sanctions, or bring another state into your sphere of influence. Consider who might answer a call for help before starting a war—and whether your own allies will remain useful when the fighting begins.

When diplomacy breaks down, take command of your forces. Organize armies, design mixed divisions, research equipment, and support ground operations with aviation. Plan advances around terrain and supply routes. Isolated units can exhaust their reserves, suffer attrition, and lose the strength needed to continue an offensive. Capturing territory is one challenge; maintaining the army that captured it is another.

You can also step back and let the world run. Observer mode lets autonomous countries develop, negotiate, form alliances, and fight. Follow a particular state, switch map views, accelerate the simulation, or intervene directly by ordering wars, making peace, and deploying divisions. Watch a balance of power emerge—and see how long it lasts.

There is no mandatory victory condition or campaign timer. Set your own ambitions, save your progress, and return to the world you have shaped. Whether you spend a session balancing a budget or following a continent-wide conflict, ULTRA FIVE gives you a country to govern and plenty of reasons to rethink your next move.
